What Are Some Possible Reasons Why A Verified GMB Listing Doesn’t Appear In Search Results For The Key Term?

In episode 134 of our weekly Hump Day Hangouts, one participant asked about possible reasons why a verified GMB listing for a dentist doesn’t appear in search results for ‘dentist’ but is shown in results for ‘orthodontist’.

My question is about MAPs.

I have a client – dentist – that have a GMB verified, his real place. It was showing for terms like “”orthodontist”” and some others, but NEVER for dentist!
Then I deleted other categories, like orthodontist and let only dentist. Now don’t show to orthodontist too.

I click on the arrow to see more places and even going on page 3 of map results it isn’t there.
Appears only if I search for their name.
Should I delete this one and start another GMB?
